York Jubilee Air Rifle & Pistol Club

Membership

If you decide to come and have a try at air gun target shooting, the first three attendances are completely free. After this, if you decide you want to go further, you will be offered probationary membership which lasts for three months. During this time, you pay £2.00 per attendance if you are an adult, or £1.00 if a junior (under 18). This continues once you are a full member of the club.

At the end of the probationary period, subject to satisfactory safety procedures, you will be asked if you wish to join as a full member.

Categories of membership:

Full Adult£40 per year
Full Junior£20 per year
Students in full time education£20 per year
Senior citizens£20 per year
Family£60 per year (irrespective of number of family members)

Club membership cards are issued to all members on payment of annual subscriptions.

The club is affiliated to the NSRA (National Small-bore Rifle Association), membership No 5401, and also to the Yorkshire Small Bore Rifle & Pistol Association. Links to their websites are on our links page.

You will be encouraged to join the NSRA as either an annual or associate member. This will entitle you to shoot in national league competitions and to various other benefits such as public liability insurance and cover for your rifles and equipment.

Experienced shooters who are considering joining the club will not be required to undergo a probationary membership period provided that suitable references have been obtained from the shooter’s previous club secretary. This concession may also be offered to FAC (Firearms Certificate) holders at the discretion of the club committee.
